CJI publishes terms of reference for review of Police Ombudsman’s independence

Dr Michael Maguire has published the terms of reference for an inspection of the operational independence of the Office of the Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland.  Work on the inspection will commence immediately and It is CJI’s intention to seek to publish the inspection when it is completed.

The Inspection will be carried out in line with CJI’s full inspection methodology which can be viewed at www.cjini.org
