"I am delighted to have been re-appointed as Chief Inspector and look forward to continuing to work with the organisations and agencies within the criminal justice system and those from the voluntary and community sector who contribute to the work of the justice system during the next three years.

I will continue to work to ensure the work and contribution of CJI is relevant, proportionate and focussed on ensuring the justice system in Northern Ireland continues to improve for the benefit of all those who come into contact with it, and those who work within it," he said.
